Week 5 (July 12/13): Watercolor & Charcol Animal drawing
Mix bold and soft, light and dark, wild and gentle—just like the animals we’ll be drawing! In this exciting mixed-media art class, students will combine the loose, vibrant flow of watercolor with the rich, dramatic textures of charcoal to create expressive animal portraits and scenes.

Animal anatomy and gesture drawing
Charcoal shading, smudging, and line work
Watercolor washes, blending, and layering
How to combine both mediums for dynamic effects
Create a final animal masterpiece that’s full of personality!
