Week 9 (Aug 9/10): 🐱🎨 "Maneki-Neko Magic: Drawing the Lucky Cat" ✨🍀

$60.00

In this fun and cultural art class, young artists will explore the symbolism of Japan’s famous Maneki-Neko, or “Lucky Cat,” by creating their own illustrated versions!

Students will start by learning about the history and meanings behind different Maneki-Neko designs—whether it's a gold cat for wealth, a white cat for happiness, or a pink cat for love. They’ll then sketch their own lucky cats, adding unique details like decorative patterns, lucky coins, or tiny accessories.

Using ink, markers, or colored pencils, they’ll bring their illustrations to life with bright, cheerful colors and traditional Japanese motifs like cherry blossoms, waves, or lanterns.

This class blends culture, creativity, and storytelling—giving each artist the chance to create a Maneki-Neko that brings good fortune and joy! 🐾🖌️✨

This workshop will be 2 hours.

Time Options:

August 9th (Saturday), 1:00-3:00 and 3:30-5:30 p.m.

All Workshops Are None Refundable but Transferrable.
